Terms of Service

These Terms cover what is specific to Packed. The licence for the App itself is Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement, linked below.

1. Acceptance

By installing or using Packed you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. Licence

Packed is licensed to you, not sold. Your licence to use the App is Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement, which covers permitted use on your Apple-branded devices, family sharing, and Apple's role. Where anything on this page conflicts with that agreement, that agreement governs your use of the App.

3. Packed Pro

Packing lists, suggestions and looks work without paying. A Packed Pro subscription unlocks the paid features, including the iCloud backup and planning more than one trip at a time.

• Prices: the current price and period of each plan are shown in the App Store and on the purchase screen inside the app, in your local currency, before you confirm anything.
• Billing: payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Renewal: the subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Renewal charge: your account is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you chose.
• Managing and cancelling: manage or turn off auto-renew in your Apple Account settings. A cancelled subscription stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds: handled by Apple under App Store policy.

4. Trips you share

Packed lets you publish a trip and its list as a link. Please read this section before you use it.

• Anyone who has the link can open the shared trip. Treat the link as public once you have sent it.
• You are responsible for what you put in a trip you share, including anything you write in item names and notes. Do not share someone else's personal information.
• A shared trip stays available so the link keeps working. Write to us to have one removed.
• We may remove a shared trip that is unlawful, abusive or used to distribute content that has nothing to do with packing.
• Receiving a shared trip copies it into your own app. Changes you make afterwards are yours alone and are never sent back to the sender.

5. Recommendations are suggestions

Packing suggestions, weather forecasts and baggage guidance are for planning only. Forecasts change, and baggage rules vary by airline, fare and route. Checking baggage allowances, passports, visas and conditions at your destination remains your responsibility.

6. Intellectual property

The Packed name, logo, iconography, design system, interface, software and packing catalogue are the property of Packed and its licensors. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, copy or redistribute any part of the App.

7. Your content and your backups

Trips, lists, looks, notes and categories you create remain yours. Packed's iCloud backup is a convenience, not a guarantee: keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. We are not liable for data lost through device failure, a reset, or loss of access to your Apple Account.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Packed and its developers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost luggage, missed flights or travel disruption arising from your use of the App.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
